Three Day Schedule of Events

Friday, November 22nd

Victorian Christmas Program: 7pm - 8:30pm
Petticoats to Pillboxes

Community Theatre League, 100 West Third Street

Just as architectural styles and decorative elements for homes changed over the decades due to societal changes and economic realities, so did fashion.

From fichus to bustles, from stays to spencers, from hoops to sleek dresses, from linsey-woolsey to polyester, the conflicts between what has become commonplace to what is becoming popular has been ongoing.

During the evening, with the help of our live models and authentic costumes, we will be highlighting how fashion reflected the changes in Williamsport life from early settlers to the early 1960’s.

“From Petticoats to Pillboxes” encompasses our local history and the changes reflected in what we wore.

Friday night, November 22, from 7 pm to 8:30 pm @ Community Theatre League (CTL)
